Senior PHP Developer

You will be working for a US-based technology company with the leading in Software, Web and mobile app development for business in North America helping our independent retailers adopt and embrace this new key component of their digital marketing solution. Developer position is responsible for coding updates to existing platform and client websites. Proprietary php framework built to manage ecommerce websites with large product catalogs and complex business logic.

Role and Responsibilities

• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions

• Design client-side and server-side architecture

• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design

• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications

• Write effective APIs

• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency

• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software

• Create security and data protection settings

• Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design

• Write technical documentation

• Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software

• 5+ years of experience as PHP Developer

• Experience developing desktop and mobile applications

• Familiarity with common stacks

• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)

• Expert knowledge of PHP, MYSQL and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Vue, React)

• Experience with frameworks such as Yii and Laravel

• Experience with CMS such as CraftCMS, WordPress

• Familiarity web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design

• Excellent English communication skills
