Senior Data Engineer -ETL/Node/GCP

You will be working for a US-based technology company with the leading Software, Web and mobile app development for business in North America helping independent retailers adopt and embrace this new key component of their digital marketing solution. We build and maintain thousands of retailer websites that must run reliably, efficiently, and effectively.

The Responsibilities

• Integrate new data sources and improve existing ones using many different methods

• Work primarily in Node JS for data extraction and transformation

• Self-starter - ability to work alone or on very small teams, being as self-sufficient as possible to execute solutions for given tasks

• Thoroughly testing solutions when QA resources or team members are limited
  

• 5+ years experience with NodeJS

• Strong exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) – BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Kubernetes

• Software Developer with data-centric focus

• Strong English communication skills
