Senior Java Developer

You will be working for a US-based technology company with the leading Software, Web and mobile app development for business in North America helping independent retailers adopt and embrace this new key component of their digital marketing solution. The role will work on an amazing team of engineers to continue building out products to meet our retailers digital needs.

The Responsibilities
* Act as a senior developer across large teams, guiding and mentoring junior and mid-level developers as needed
* Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for both front-end and back-end systems
* Design and implement scalable database schemas and server-side logic
* Ensure optimal performance and responsiveness of applications across multiple device
interfaces
* Debug and troubleshoot technical issues across the full stack
* Implement security and data protection measures
* Maintain and update existing web applications and systems

* 7+ years of Java development experience, expert level

* Experience writing vanilla Java applications and managing codebases that have been in use for upwards of 10 years
* Knowledge of database systems and SQL
* Experience with Cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS
* Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD)
